22nd Pondicherry State Yoga Sport Championship That was lovely event where children and parent found the Yogasana competition place as a learning ground. Over 466 students from all around pondicherry as well Tamilnadu competeted. There was a theory exam (multiple choice type Q's) followed by two rounds of yogasana competition under the categories - Below Grade 1, Grade 1-2, Grade 3-4, Grade 5, Grade 6 Grade 7 Grade 8-9, Grade 10,11,12 College Level and Above 50. Round1: Common event: round where the specified poses are done Round2; Special event: Asanas of

diiferent cateogories are done. The first prize winners of each category (Grade 1,2,3...College level) enter in to the Round of CHAMPIONS MEET. In the champions meet the Competitors had performed one asana of their own choice from following category: Hand balance Single leg balance Back bending Front bending Spinal twist. Followed by a viva-voce. So it was really a tough competition where the Viva-Voce session made few cry, few fly high. But the whole competition provided a ground to know about happiness, creating happiness, perseverance, cleanliness, truthfulness apart from yoga asanas. On the whole the competition was a grand grand

success by acheiving its own implicit goal of spreading awarenes about Yoga, Spirituality and Brotherhood. Happy learning, Tamil Sengolan
