Guest guest
Dear YDM, I too get my students to feel the differing effects of Chin and Jnana Mudra, but also to then draw the hands to the centre line of the body, resting them in the lap. Different again. Practice breathing using the 'Chin Mudra' that is with the thumb and index finger each hand touching and resting down on the thighs or knees. be aware of how this gesture affects your body and mind. Then switch the hand position keeping the same mudra just simply turn the palms to face upwards, in Jnana mudra and hold that for a minute or so and be aware of the effects on the body and mind. please repeat the exercise several times. I would like feedback on this experience, the difference to both position. How it affects your state of your thoughts.
