Guest guest Posted August 9, 2008 Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 I request that all the participants in this e-group conduct an experiment on themselves and I would like to get your sincere feedback on a particular practice. the practice is simple while sitting in any meditative posture, whether on the floor in your chosen meditation posture or on a chair. Practice breathing using the 'Chin Mudra' that is with the thumb and index finger each hand touching and resting down on the thighs or knees. be aware of how this gesture affects your body and mind. Then switch the hand position keeping the same mudra just simply turn the palms to face upwards, in Jnana mudra and hold that for a minute or so and be aware of the effects on the body and mind. please repeat the exercise several times. I would like feedback on this experience, the difference to both position. How it affects your state of your thoughts.
