Amma and Dr Ananda in Saday

 

 

 

AMMA & Dr.ANANDA in SADAY

Saday is a school found in the heart of the

city(Pondicherry). This is a school for the SPECIAL children- both

the mentally and the physically challenged children- run very

efficiently by Dr.Sugathan. Today, being the 14th of November, the

Children's Day celebrations went on so well in the school. Amma and Dr

Ananda graced the occasion with their presence(amidst their busy

schedule). It was indeed the greatest pleasure having them both there.

They were given a warm welcome by the flamboyantly dressed cute little

children (personally i would never like to call them spl children) .

Amma taught Her special " MANTRAS " , the children enjoyed repeating

them with the actions. I'm quite sure that they are going to bring a

lot of change in their behaviour. Like Amma said, i will surely make

them repeat like the Shlokas which they chant before and after the

classes.

Dr Ananda gave a nice touching speech, appreciating the selfless,

patient and the tireless work of the management and the staff members.

I have the good fortune of conducting the Yoga classes for them. I

consciously use the word conducting instead of teaching because i

learn a lot more than what i teach. These children give you more than

100 percent in return for your meagre 10 % or so (isn't that quite a

bargain) , despite all your shortcomings. Their untarnished pure

innocent hearts only knows the language of AFFECTION & LOVE & GIVING ,

without expecting anything in return - TRUE KARMA YOGIS - nothing more

, nothing less. Their power of perception is commendable. Such a

pleasure being with them( away from the so-called, sane, mad, selfish

world) . I have to thank Amma and Sir for giving me this opportunity

to be a part of them.

It was a very touching and moving experience which Amma and Sir

appreciated greatly. It was a pleasure to watch the children dance ,

completely devoid of any inhibitions. On the whole ,it was quite a

meaningful excellent Children's Day that we are going to cherish for a

long long time.

Dear all,

After seeing the report.. again and again

...tears roll down..The Almighty has made these special

children just to ensure that the human race does not

forget to spare a wee bit... a bit of

time,love,affection and what not.Hats off to Dr.Ananda

and Amma for their benovolence. May their tribe

increase.

Well done Madam Meena..for the touching and

meaningful report.
