Namaste, We've been getting a lot of great Feedback from many of you about The Yoga News. What's been your #1 request?

" Can we get more of it? " Well here it is... our very first semi-monthly edition! ... and in response to your requests, we'll be putting out a second, shorter issue of The Yoga News in the middle of each month from now on. It'll include another yoga-related article or two, plus some updates on what's happening at International Yogalayam as well.

As usual, keep sending us your great comments and suggestions. Enjoy!

Dosha, Pancha Kosha, and other keys to Yoga Therapy Yoga introduced many new concepts, such as the tri dosha, pancha kosha, and the chakras to the Western world.

The concept of yoga therapy has also grown quickly here in recent decades. But most practitioners of it have been slow to really absorb its fundamental concepts and basic principles.

Instead, yoga therapy has swiftly merged with western medical thought and taken on a strangely familiar western medical slant that Yogacharya Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, a yoga master and prominent physician has so aptly coined “yogopathy.” ...
