While listening to Venkat’s novelty presentation today at the Best Youth Award competitions 2009, I had a nice realization that I wanted to share with you.We always wonder why we cannot remember past life experiences-well it is because we are so possessive and selfish that we will misuse them. Give the human race anything and it is misused and

abused rather than used. TV, nuclear energy-name it and we have already done that!But once we embark on a sincere Sadhana, things chance because we change. That is why Patanjali tells us that we gain knowledge of all births if we perfect the Aparigraha, the Yama of non-coveted-ness. This is because the Universe then knows that we have lost that selfish - possessiveness and so happily grants us that knowledge (aparigraha stairye janma katampta sambhodah)!!
