"Nur Übung macht den Meister" ...

"Hello everybody !!!"Nur Übung macht den Meister." ... "only practice makes a master", or as another German saying underlines : "Es ist noch kein Meister vom Himmel gefallen.", "no master just dropped down from heaven".So here some impressions of Bharata Natyam practice filmed in Yoganjali Natyalayam in may 2006. For those

of you who may not know it, Bharata Natyam is a South Indian classical dance style which combines pure dance with story telling through mime.It is quite some work to move through the basics before then starting to actually dance. In this video, you will get some glimpses of basic training and of a choreography rehearsal. You will also witness the essential aspects of relaxation and of artistic inspiration and creation ;-).Enjoy and be aware of how privileged you are to be watching these budding masters ;-) !!!Lots of good inspirations to all of you !!!ChristophPS : Watching this video, I am also

reminded of an experiment made with cats. Take one cat. Teach him something. Put that cat back with its fellow cats - they will learn the same thing much much faster just by emulation. That's what a good teaching environment should be about : a space where people grow by themselves through the structure that is provided to them.Good inspirations to all of you !!!Christoph"Involves Christoph.
