Guest guest
It is so great when someone starts ashtanga, and feels that energy for the first time, and is so enthusiastic for it. It is a very wonderful system, and at the beginning in particular, the speed of improvement and advancement is encouragingly rapid. It's very satisfying. Hopefully you and your Mum have a good teacher nearby. If not there is an excellent touring circuit of top teachers visiting all round the world. If you are interested in PETA and other such things, you might also want to check out http://freegan.info/ which has some very interesting ideas about conscious living. Keep practising ! Guest guest
Hola Lucy and everybody, I am new to the group too. I've been practicing Ashtanga yoga for about two years. My husband passed away from kidney cancer 2 1/2 years ago so I can relate how your practice has helped you. As I have deepened my yoga practice during the past six months, I have started following a vegan diet; feel a lot better inside and out. I hope that you are enjoying Mexico City. I am originally from there and currently reside in Florida. with loving kindness, Silvia ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Hi I got the gift of bujaphidasana today yyyaaaayy!! I am very grateful. I will visit the site for sure thanks. I have 2 great teachers and a bunch of good ones, so I can't complain, the practice the series is a fantastic teacher itself, I don't get as much attention from teachers as I'd like but I practice everyday and have goten the gifts and respect for it LOL I AM SOO HAPPY! I was never sporty and would not be able to engage in a physical activity with such love and devotion as I have for this, beautiful blessed ashtanga. My mom is in San Antonio and she goes to every important event from the big yoghis. She is not as fortunate as me to have many great teachers at hand. But she's a hard core ashtangi and is doing wonderfully on her own mostly. She is a great example for me. I am glad to see this group is alive and growing.
