Guest guest
It is alright to be on the stomach (as long as it fee's comfortable) until just before the second trimester (or if it becomes uncomfortable). Right off the bat-no twisting in the lumbar spine. You can work on stretching out the rib cage and the legs, but no twists. Jump backs are fine until they are not, you can do anything that you can do that feel's comfortable except twisting because you can rip the lining of the placenta and terminate the pregnancy. The first trimester can be exhausting, encourage breaks. Let he know her body is actually in the process of creating another life and that is where all the energy is going, some of it will come back to her in the second trimester. Encourage her to feel what's going on with her body. Awareness will answer many of her questions about what she should and should not do. I knew all the contraindications, and followed those guidelines, but if I wanted to check something out I would know immediately that it was not right for me in that stage of pregnancy. Many of the moves are modified as pregnancy goes on, I did it right to the end. I actually induced my son by doing the wheel (I do not recommend that, although I had a perfect birth and a perfect boy) I hope this helps. -Victoria --- denis sciannimanica <yoga_denis wrote: > Hi everybody > > Hope someone can give me good advises > I teach ashanga in italy and for the first time > one of my students got pregnant > Can she do all the serie or is it better to skip > something like jump back and all the asana where you > press the heel on the stomac ? > > thak you > Denis > > > > > > > > L'email della prossima generazione?
