Guest guest
Hi, has anybody ever come back to the practice after breaking a leg? I have badly broken my tibia and will not even be walking for six months. Any ideas how to keep healthy or have you had this kind of experience? I've just completed a yoga teacher training course and in the last module we covered 'chair yoga'. Now, that may sound a bit lame, but honestly, some of the postures that can be achieved on a chair actually feel even better than in a standard ashtanga session. I found the twists were especially deep. Also try Felden Kreis until you're back to your feet - I believe it involves practicing the postures on one side and then vividly imagining them on your injured side - apparently with profound results. Surely worth a try, Namaste, Helen x
