Between two people, identical in all respects, they can lose weight differently if their metabolism rates are different. With yogic breathing, you can improve your metabolism and the urge to eat more. some time-tested, proven tips that really help in losing weight are: People under stress tend to eat more; therefore, avoid too much thinking at least while eating. Watching TV while eating leads to over-eating. Just stop eating when you feel you can eat a little more. Sit in any comfortable position, close your eyes, join the index finger and thumb on both hands and remain calm in that position for 5 - 7 minutes daily and you can feel great relief from stress and over-eating caused by stress. Stress tends to production of cortisol which comfotably accumulates around the stomach and adds inches to one's waistline. Lastly, do not give too much importance to numbers like 12lbs or 18lbs, instead focus on being healthy. Yoga definitely helps us live happy and healthy - both mentally and physically.
