teacher training with Dana Pare

I have taken three teacher trainings with Tim Miller, so I've experienced

what is widely agreed to be among the best in teacher trainings --- thus my

recommendation of Dana Rae Pare may be of value.

Dana's a wonderful teacher; I recently received her teacher training

brochure and I feel that nothing there is overstated. Infinite Yoga, her

studio, is beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped -- and thriving.

Trevor, her husband, is a very qualified teacher with a fantastic

personality and sense of humor. (This said, I can't speculate whether or not

he'll be involved in the teacher training.)

I'm a life-long San Diegan, and whether you're into arts or sports or

nature, you'll enjoy our town. (Although, in my experience as a student in

Tim's Encinitas intensives, I was kept so busy and went to bed so tired I

could have been staying in a cave!) The studio has a great location, at the

center of several lively, artsy neighborhoods and within walking distance of

downtown San Diego. It's central to all of San Diego via the SD. Trolley

(local transportation); the Coaster, serving the North Coast of San Diego

County; and Amtrak (our rather lamentable national train system), for longer

journeys -- if you don't wish to rent a car.

I am unusual for an Astangi in that I study with several teachers. (Tim

Miller's studio is a 60-mile round trip, and my original Astanga teacher

Sean O'Shea died in a freak accident a few years ago.) Dana is primary

among my teachers. In addition to taking classes with her for years, I

recently enjoyed a

wonderful, intense, well-prepared, week-long retreat with Dana in Maya

Tulum, Mexico.

In short, I can't say enough about Dana, Trevor, or Infinite Yoga, and I'm

sure the Intensive will be well worth it. I wish I could swing it myself!,

but I wasted my allotment of teacher training monies last summer taking a

teacher training so badly handled more than half of us walked out

mid-session -- no refund granted. Please don't ask the instructor's name --

but if the name comes up here with someone asking for a recommendation I

will be sure to speak -- in truth and love and light.

Peace, and let us know what you decide. Perhaps we'll meet at practice,

Hugs,

Tina
