Guest guest
Going to SF for my birthday. Can anyone recommend a good studio in San Francisco or Napa? Prefer Ashtanga but doesn't have to be? Michael
Guest guest
Hi Michael, I highly recommend Caroline Klebl - she is the real deal - studied in Mysore for about 6 years. www.sourceofyoga.com Take care, ________________________________ michaela7145 <michaela7145 ashtangayoga Friday, 26 June, 2009 12:31:56 ashtanga yoga Studion in San Francisco Going to SF for my birthday. Can anyone recommend a good studio in San Francisco or Napa? Prefer Ashtanga but doesn't have to be? Michael -------- hi Michael if you're going to be in Napa, you could easily reach one of the studios of the former Yoga Studio, now Yoga Works. the Larkspur Landing location has Ashtanga Mysore with good teachers (John & Lea). if you go into the city you have many choices for ashtanga - Catherine at YogaWorks, John and Heidi at AshtangaYoga San Francisco, Devorah at Mission Yoga. Napa is convenient to Berkeley, so you can go to Vance's at Ashtanga Yoga Berkeley. I may be missing several studios because there are more teachers, but i've mentioned the main ones for ashtanga. Guest guest
There are a lot of great teachers in SF. For a list of ashtantga teachers you can look here: http://www.townme.com/world/World-Wide-Unofficial-list-of-all-Mysore-Style-Ashta\ nga-Teachers-by-City Yoga Tree has a lot of good non-ashtanga teachers and branches throughout the city (yogatreesf.com) Hope this helps ashtangayoga , " michaela7145 " <michaela7145 wrote: > > Going to SF for my birthday. Guest guest
Michael, Arturo: Actually, Catherine is at mindful body now. Would add to the list Magnolia Zuniga at Yoga works SF. Depending on when you go, it may be Noah at Heidi and Johns. -tom On Fri, Jun 26, 2009 at 7:01 AM, Arturo Veve <volae wrote: > > > Studion in San Francisco > Posted by: " michaela7145 " michaela7145<michaela7145%40>michaela7145 > Thu Jun 25, 2009 9:57 pm (PDT) > > Going to SF for my birthday. Guest guest
Michael, When are you going to SF? Also would help to know which area you will be staying. I believe Noah Williams will be at John and Heidi's starting on the 28th of June for two months? Great opportunity to study with a certified Ashtanga teacher. amanda (who will also be visiting SF soon!!)

Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out her web site and don't see regular scheduled classes. Do you know if she has any or is it all teacher training?
