Most students stay in accommodation in Candolim, which is 1- 3 minutes to the shala and the beach. They are all nice places. I'm staying in Casa Baptista, it seems like the cheapest rate in the area is 300 Rps/night, but this may increase a little over the coming months. I am staying at Casa Baptista. It's nice but no kitchen. The other place I would recommend is Maria D'Costas- clean and with kitchen, 300 Rps this month, but will probably increase next month.
