Where to find Mysore classes in Los Angeles, CA

Hi All-

I'm going to be in Los Angeles, CA end of November for a conference and I would

like to find a studio where " Mysore " -style of class is offered in the mornings.

My preliminary search on the internet has pointed me to the Ashtanga Yoga Los

Angeles website but I will not be staying in the Silverlake area and I will not

have a car. I am staying in a hotel in downtown LA.

In theory, I could switch to a hotel in the Silverlake area and " commute " to my

conference at the Staples Center but that region does not have a lot of hotels

to choose from.

Any other areas I should look into? Where can I find Mysore classes in the

downtown LA area?

Thank you!

Lydia

I am running out the door on my way to my practice at LA Ashtanga.

James is an excellent teacher. the shala is open from 6AM to 11AM

closed saturdays and moondays.

This is a shala that offers only ashtanga, only mysore style, this is

not a yoga studio with a mysore class. This is the real deal.

Sorry i was reading the post on the digest and didn't see the whole thing.

My first advice is to stay in Silverlake.

You may also be interested in investigating shanti shala, it is right outside of

downtown.

good luck
