Guest guest
Glad you liked it.Re: led classes, and even mysore style, remember you can always say no. If you think you shouldn't be doing something (particularly in led class) you probably shouldn't. Its nice to be able to do a pose now, its better to be able to do it for the rest of your life. -tom On Thu, Aug 27, 2009 at 4:02 PM, alma_shiva_sat_chit_ananda < universal_mother_nua wrote: > > > I finally went to my first mysore class and it was great!!!! Guest guest
Well yes... I am lucky because my teacher is very gentle... he always encourages people to back off. I guess that's not the norm.. I have heard other stories... with serious injuries.... so I am lucky I guess. I am learning to incorporate Bhuja Pindasana now and the Baddha Konasana sequence and the Upavistha Konasana sequence. It is very though... especially for the Baddha Konasana sequence my hips need to open a lot more... Interesting how each pose seems to strech in a different way... It seems incredibly difficult to get your chin down to the floor with B.K.... and easier to round the back to get the face to the feet...? Question: do you open your feed only with the B.K. C? And just sit straight? Thanks Alma
Guest guest
Feet face up in all Baddha Konasana. Ultimately feet press against your chest when hips open enough. B.K. C -- I don't think that is in the series now as being taught in mysore (others may comment). -- That being said, it has been their. Typically feet open, legs/knees to the floor, back straight, chin down -- jalandara banda. On Tue, Sep 1, 2009 at 2:58 PM, alma_shiva_sat_chit_ananda < universal_mother_nua wrote: > > > Well yes...
