Guest guest
Dear fellow ashtangis. I just had a couple of question from this morning's practise and if anyone could explain it to me the followings... A. The specific vinyasa count of drop back to hand stand summersault to tic tac After the back bending(<-That's how what the yoga teacher called it!) B. In Supta Urdha Pada Vajrasana (the half-lotus-on-your-back-to-sitting before the headstand in the second series?) Are we supposed to stay for 5 breath before coming to sitting? C. Does anyone know If there is any ashtanga teacher who is certified or authorised to teach advaced series of Asana in Sydney in Australia? I would really appreciate anyone's advice on those questions! Have a great day! Namaste... H Terry.

Guest guest
Hall is certified. She's in Bondi, and her school is moving to new digs next month. I've never practised with her, and don't know whether she teaches advancedseries, but you can email and ask: .. http://www.yogamoves.com.au/yoga4/pract.html I also know of someone learning third series at: http://www.ashtangayogaspace.com.au I think with Paul Frechtling, but I'm not too sure. You can always contact the school and enquire about the advanced series. Can't help you with the vinyasa count with the backbending, but I'm pretty sure you don't hold the lying down part of SUPV, only the bharadvajrasana part after rolling up. I don't practice this one, just checked Lino Miele's book. good luck lisa ________________________________ terryyun87 <terryyun87 ashtangayoga Saturday, 26 September, 2009 7:09:35 AM ashtanga yoga Vinyasa Guide question from second series and. Guest guest
hi there, you might have received an answer already, but there is someone i believe in paddington, and have you tried simon borg-oliver (sydney based), or even dena in byron bay - she could refer you to someone for sure. i live in melbourne, so i could ask karyn grenfell - she would know someone also. apologies if you have received advice. kindest regards, Sophie ________________________________ terryyun87 <terryyun87 ashtangayoga Saturday, 26 September, 2009 7:09:35 ashtanga yoga Vinyasa Guide question from second series and.
