Recommended Posts

There is no official Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training so to speak. Used to, you

would go to Mysore India and study and you get Pattabhi Jois's and I hear

sometimes Sharath's blessing. Also, if you are new to yoga, I would suggest you

study for a while before teaching someone. And by a while, I don't mean a 6

month teacher training.

Second that Shanna!

IMO - Recommend at least 5 years, preferably 10 before teaching.

 

Too many people are being seriously injured by teachers who have less

experience.

Not to suggest that practice time alone is enough, but you need to

understand the beast before you can teach it and that takes time.
