Guest guest
dear all, i just wanted to put the feelers out to someone who can tell me about tightness in the sternum / diaphragm area when i attempt the above pose - when i googled it, this seems to be not uncommon, and some people calling it kundalini. i skipped the posture yesterday, but when i did it today it seemed a lot more bearable and the tightness has gone but there is def some sensation still there. any suggestions? take care and thanking all in advance, sophie
Guest guest
Unless your hips are extremely open, this pose will put forward pressure on the back of your shoulders. This pressure will cause compression of the clavicle which you can experience as pressure in the sternum.
