Guest guest
Well, another year has passed, and I still feel that the only time I am truly happy is when I am doing my yoga. So, I am going to set aside all my spiritual prejudices and embrace all the aspects of yoga I have shunned to date. I am going to learn all the chants and say them at the beginning and end of my practice, even when I am alone. I am going to set aside my reluctance to consider meditation, and really really work at it. I will focus on my chakra meditations... I will become a better yogini. I have read every post that has been on this group all year, and the fact is I have never come across a where everyone is considerate and polite in every single post, even if they disagree with what is being said. It's amazing what yoga has done for you all. I can learn too. All in all, I feel I have been treating my ashtanga as an exercise class when it has the potential to be much much more than that if I let it. So thanks to everyone of you for helping me to open this door. I really mean this. Daena.
Guest guest
Daena, Spiritual growth for me is an adventure that speaks to a return to the wonder of childhood. Meditation in itself is one of my favorite activities, although I do mostly zazen. Starting the new year in this way is a wonderful experience for you - enjoy each moment of it!
