Guest guest
Hi all, I dug this out of my first book. Thought it might open things up and people have sent in writings from their pasts.Didn't see a K connection, (or even know about it) back then, but now upon reading it. . . . . The Arts And I turn to set down my paints.....and my keyboard is handy. I stop....as if on land...crossing to water.....and yet-yes-the flow is as magnetic as through hazy trees or filmy water, through gray penciled tones, then around the triplet water colors. My mind spirals in upon itself from the work of building, each octave of the landscape;the distance being shorter in the foreground - I modulate to a relative minor key - for this is eventide of shadows and ancient trees, that last slope. . .a peaceful cadence. I'm quite content with my drawings, knowing full well I'm just learning the scales of perception and as I push my flute back to reach paper to write this down...I wish I had more hands, more time, more,MORE ! For this moment is so sweet....where land meets water...the eye of art and the ear of music lap over into poetic eddies and smooth this tough old rock. Blessings to all, + Maureen
