Dear Moderators,

 

My name is Pavithra and I am basically from

Tamilnadu presently living in UK. I am married and I

belong to the 20+ age category.

 

Since the last few years, I have been developing a

great deal of interest in knowing more about Indian

culture in general and spiritual matters in

particular. Especially in a foreign country like UK,

I find myself being asked quite a few questions about

Indian society ranging from our Gods and Goddesses,

Hindu beliefs and rituals etc. In my quest to know

more myself, I resorted to some reading up on the

Internet (thanks to the computer age) and came

across our and felt that it might be a

good orum where I can learn more about Lord Shiva and

Goddess Parvati in particular through the forum

discussions and texts. I have also started collecting

stotram / slogam / Sanskrit texts relating to

Hinduism and am happy and proud to be realizing the

vastness and richness of our spiritual philosophy.

 

I hope I will be considered positively for

membership in this knowledgeable and devoted

community.
