When cundharar was coming near thirukkurukAvUr, he was tired, hungry anf thirsty. The caring Lord, came as an old man keeping food ball and water under an awning. He offered cundharar the food and water and asked him to take rest in that shade. While cundharar was asleep the Lord disappeared along with the awning (shade).
