Meaning:

Praised by the nice seven worlds;

One Who has every form as His form;

The Lord residing at thirupperunthuRai,

Who gave the grand grace Bliss to the

beautiful vaNDOdhari of roaring ilangai;

One of south pANDi kingdom -

oh kuyil with your nice voice, call!

Notes:

1. evvuruvum than uruvAm

c.f. anaiththu vEDamAm ambalak kUththanaith

thinaiththanaip pozuthum maRandhu uyvanO - appar

2. rAvaNan, in spite of his great talents
