I ahve released one book on prathyinkira vidhanam but unfortunately I do not have even one book with me because they are all sold out. To my negligible knowledge of homa prayoga, the differences between a vaidic and tantric homa are : In the tantrik homa the Agni is taken out of our own body through mantras and and various karmas like jadhaka,nama,vivaha etc are performed to agni. In case of Vaidic one agni prathishta is much simpler. In tantrik homa agni becomes the very deity and in case of vaidic one agnic is only the agent for the main diety. So incase of tantrik homa the agni to become the very diety several mudras and mantras are involved to transform it to the diety before the homa begin. So all the offerings to the diety directly reaches, in case of tantrik one. Tantrik homas can be done even at midnight like that of Pratyangira which is specially done on Amavasya midnight whereas no vaidhic homa is done after sunset and also it finishes before the sunsets. The homa samagri in case of P Homa includes DRIED RED CHILLIES and in case of Vaidic ones such non Vaidic substances are prohibited. For secrecy reasons other Non vaidhic substances are not quoted. Now one may think which is the best method or a superior one and it all boils down to Adhikarathwam. The subtler differences between Vaidhic and tantrik practices should be learnt from one's guru and a learned guru would tell you how it is much simpler to get Ambaa's Consciousness through tantrik means but for this to take place you must be the Chosen one by Ambaa to become HER Sadhak.
