I owe you my gratitude for this reassuring reply.

 

 

Yes, I do agree about the physical purity aspect

apart from a devoted attitude.

 

I used to chant it with a " nishkaama " attitude,

with an intention of Devi Preeti alone.

But over the years, I never kept a count

of the number of times that I have recited it.

 

Recently, I happened to tell someone to recite it.

But having advised thus, I was not sure whether

I did the right thing.

This thought was nagging me, for I just wanted to know

whether there were any " nishedh " rules, to

be followed.

 

Hence, I had sought for the clarification from

someone who is more erudite and learned in these texts.
