Guest guest
Dear devotees, There is a typing error in the value of lipta kala parimana. It should have been 21600 instead of 12600. Dear devotees, I would like to share this piece of information with you. Paramaatma is described as the form of Purusha and Kala (time). Purusha is Antaryami of the upasaka. The Universe which is the projection of Paramaatma for his divine sport. To continue his divine sport (pravritti) with universe, paramaatma takes the form of Kala (time). The entire creation is under the control of this Kala. Unit of Kala is measured in terms of One Year in Veda which is 360 days. This is also the time taken by the Sun to enter into all the 12 raasi chakras. Time taken by the sun to pass one zodiac sign is 30 degrees. Hence, to enter into all the 12 raasis, it would take 30 degree x 12 = 360 degrees. Each degree is measured in terms of 60 liptaas ie., 360 degrees is equivalent to 21600 liptaa kala parimana. The number of breaths per day of an individual is 21600. These are called “Hamsa”. Because, while inhaling “Ham” sound is produced and while exhaling “Sa” sound is produced. This is in the form of Ajapa Gayatri. When this 21600 hamsa are divided with 60 lipta, it comes to 360 degrees. This 360 degrees is divided in the 6 chakras of pindanda of the jiva as follows: 1. Mooladhara : 56 degrees 2. Manipura : 52 degrees 3. Svadhistana : 62 degrees 4. Anahata : 54 degrees 5. Visudhi : 72 degrees 6. Ajna : 64 degrees Total : 360 degrees From Mooladhara to Manipura, devi is called Agni Kundalini, from Svadhistana to Anahata, devi is called Surya Kundalini and from Visudhi to Ajna, the devi is called Chandra Kundalini. One can see that kala chakra of 360 degrees is divided in shat chakras as Agni, Surya and Chakra Kundalinis. Since, the Devi resides at Sahasrara which is beyond these 6 chakras and hence, cannot be reached by this kalachakra swarupa. Hence, she is called “Desa Kalaa Parichinna” . During Rasmi Mala Parayana, the following numbers of Hamsas are distributed in the 6 chakras of body: 1. Mooladhara : 600 hamsas to Ganapati 2. Manipura : 6000 hamsas to Brahma 3. Svadhistana : 6000 hamsas to Vishnu 4. Anahata : 6000 hamsas to Rudra 5. Visudhi : 1000 hamsas to Jivatma 6. Ajna : 1000 hamsas to Paramatma Total : 21600 hamsas of ajapa gayatri in pindanda of jiva Sri Devi Khadgamala also represents this tatva. The khadgamala is called Sakti Mala which has 180 names. The same khadgamala is represented as Siva Mala with the names modified as per the Masculine gender related to Siva. Both Sakti & Siva malas are done as parayana which is called Mithuna Mala. This is 180 + 180 = 360. These are the tithi nityas of 12 months in a year. With regards, sriram Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage.
