Meaning:

In the love of the Ultimate, the One Who enfolded

them earlier, those with energized body and trembling mind;

Those with motto of doing the holy labor service;

Numerous others who are different than these types.

Notes:

1. cEkkizAr describes the various types of devotees

assembled at the dEvAciriyan hall.

It has to be noted that the nAyanmArs are from

different walks of life, doing different types of service,

different angles of approaching God. Still all are bound

by the devotion to the feet of Lord shiva. That is

exclaimed by cEkkizAr in this verse.

2. aththar - ultimate/ father; thazaithal - to grow;

vithirppu - thrill; kaDappADu - duty.
