The author is given as Adi shankarachArya. The first letter of each shloka is an akShara from pa~nchadashI mantra. There is a similar shloka in something called tripura-sundarI-veda sAra-stava. It goes: hrIMkArAmbodhi lakShmIM hima giri tanayAM IshvarIM-IshvarANAM hrIM-mantrArAdhya devIM shruti shata shikharaiH mR^igyamAnAM mR^igAkShIM . hrIM mantrAntaistrikUTaiH sthira tara matibhirdhAryamANAM jvalantIM hrIM hrIM hrIMityajasraM hR^idaya sarasije bhAvaye-ahaM bhavAnIM ..11..
