Guest guest Posted February 17, 2008 Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 Namaste, A mild protest against vAmAchAra practices once in a while is probably okay as long as the protest is about someone teaching that vAmAchAra is the --only or superior way-- without any varNa discrimination. Even then IMHO it is best not to harp on it and leave it to individuals. Also it is not in our culture to adopt a sort of a crusader mentality about religious issues. Fortunately, no one in our list is like that and let us keep it that way. Let us also hope that both Samaya and Vama/Kaula practices survive (in their spheres)without becoming extinct.
