Guest guest
Dear satish, My Great Grandmother is Smt. >Karra Visalakshi, a great >srividyopasaka. She was the first women >in >south India to propound >Tara Mahavidya and its Upasana. I am glad you mentioned this. Shri Ganapati Muni himself obtained a secret tArA vidya from a great upAsaka in the North by name Suresha Mishra(is the name correct?). When he recieved the vidya he was told that he is probably the first one to take this vidya to the south of vindhya mountains. Suresh Mishra was a great yogi and upasaka of tara. It was he who initiated the muni in this vidya. Smt. Visalakshi (wife of ganapati muni and my great grandmother) was also a srividya upasaki and propagator of tara mahavidya. She had several psychic powers and siddhis. One such siddhi is " Paaka Siddhi " ie., she can cook the food of several delicacies and varieties for any number of people within 15 minutes!!! When the annual ceremony of her father-in-law was being performed, unexpectedly 25 guests arrived at their place from Tiruvannamalai. Immediately, she went into the kitchen and after 15 min. she came out with several delicacies for all the visitors. With a single glance, she could raise the latent kundalini of her disciples and can give sakti pata diksha. Ganapati muni used to address her as Tapas Sakhi (companion of Tapas). Such a great respect he had for his wife. With regards, sriram. Forgot the famous last words? Access your message archive online.
