Guest guest
Dear sankaranarayan, In your mail, you mentioned that there is still kalpa (time) in Nirvikalpa samadhi. Could you please elaborate on that please. Because nirvikalpa means that kalpa and vikalpa both are dissolved and the upasaka is in swa-swarupa. All the 15 kalas of the mind are dissolved and upasaka is in commune with 16th kala which is chit kala. In Savikalpa state, as you mentioned, there are still traces of mental tendencies and hence it is called " Sa-Vikalpa " (Samadhi with Mental Tendencies) in which 8 kalas of the mind are dissolved. And as you mentioned that Panchadasi is related to sthula sarira, Bala Shadakshari Mantra is related to Sthula Sarira. These are words of Brahmasri Tadepalli Raghavanarayana Sastry of Chandavolu who is verily the sridevi in human form. For Baahya Karma Anushtana, Bala is very necessary as it gives the Upasaka the Upasana Bala and required Chitta Suddhi for further Vidyas. And hence, it is called Laghu Srividya. Bala is for Sthula Deha Shuddhi for performance of Karma Anushtana. With regards, sriram Get the freedom to save as many mails as you wish. Click here to know how. Guest guest
Dear Sriram, Thanks. Kalpa - whether it is called kalpa or vikalpa means that it is bound by time - kala. People mistaks kalas (energy) with kala (time). When one merges with the ultimate energy of God, even the mergence is lost in God and therefore there cannot be any kala - even time or energy left to oneself. The mergence is total and even the awareness of mergence is lost in HIM totally. However one when attaines such a state of being and becoming, the life in the body goes out and the sadhaka becomes a " living dead " . therefore some of the great saints used to have sankalpa, before commencing their final sadhana, that they will come back at such and such hours etc.,etc., which automatically culminates the mergence. This means the sadhak does not want to leave his body for some time, either to serve the needy or to devote his sakthi for some useful purposes to serve God according to his chitta vrithi. What little i know I have put in here, because words have no expression in that state of total mergence.
