Guest guest
I was fortunate to go thro' this great work of Durvasa- This consists of more than 200 verses on the blueprint and layout of Sripuram or Srimannagaram. Holding our hands Sri Durvasa takes us gradually thro' 25 fortreses with elaborate description of the devatas present in each prakaras. It is scintilating as we progress to the innermost place. The efficacy or palastuthi of this recitaion is equally in its own proportions. Sri Durvasa says that fruit of going thro' this Srinagaram cannot be be adequately comprehended by anyone including all the devatas and it is within the power of sri Lalitha in abundance of whose grace the baktha would tremble in bliss Did you know? Guest guest
Dear subramanian, Indeed, the Aryadwishati is a wonderful compostion by sage durvasa. Durvasa means " the one who is scantily clad in Kowpina " . Durvasa is an avadhuta like sage dattatreya who roams about in Kanchipuram and Tiruvannamalai in turiyatita swarupa. He was first incarnated as Sri Arunagiri Yogi in Tiruvannamalai. His dhyana sloka is " Lalate traipundri Nitaladhriti Kasturi tilakah.... " . He wear kaupina, adorned by snake around his neck and sacred ashes besmeared on his body. The second avatara of durvasa is Muka Sankara of Kanchipuram. Durvasa's original name was Satyavasan. He was originally from Tamilnadu. I will give more details regarding durvasa probably last week of this month. I am on official tour. With regds, sriram subramanian raguraman <s_sr_sra wrote: I was fortunate to go thro' this great work of Durvasa- This consists of more than 200 verses on the blueprint and layout of Sripuram or Srimannagaram.
