As you all know, Pujyasri Bhaskararaya Acharya, a

great scholar and Srividya Upasaka is held in great

esteem. His commentary Soubhagya Bhaskaram is

undoubtedly an outstanding and celebrated masterpiece

on Sri Lalitha Sahasranama. To cherish his memory, a

complete institution including a Memorial has been

established by the Bhaskaracharya Bhakta Samajam under

the able guidance and trusteeship of Sri K Mohan

Guruji, at Bhaskararajapuram near Kumbhakonam. The

Samajam and its allied trusts have established a

Poorna Mahameru and conduct Navaratri celebrations,

Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Akhanda Parayana, Koti

Archanas, Sahasra Chandi Yagnam, Annadanam etc.

 

Bhaskarajapuram has become a popular destination for

Upasakas and has witnessed frequent visits from

devotees from different Upasana Mandalis from across

the country. Therefore, the Samajam and its allied

trusts under the divine vision of Sri K Mohan Guruji

have decided to dedicate the Bhaskararaya memorial to

the Sri Vidya Upasaka community and ensure that

Upasakas are conveniently able to visit and pray to

Srimat Tripurasundari whenever they wish to. Therefore

a “Akshara Matruka Maha Mandapam” – Meditation Hall,

“Annakootam” and “Thithinitya” houses are to be

constructed adjacent to the Bhaskararaya Memorial at

Bhaskararajapuram. This project is expected to cost

Rs 51 Lakhs. However, under divine instruction from

Sri Mohan Guruji, the trusts have decided to collect

this from as many individual Upasakas as possible at

the rate of Rs 1000 per sq foot, thereby, reflecting

the fact that Bhaskararajapuram and its institutions

are truly a re-dedication to the world of Sri Vidya

Upasaka community. An artists view of the Akshara

This is an appeal to all HER Devotees to earnestly

participate in the noble and lofty endeavour and

donate Rs 1000 per sq. ft to “Pujyasri Bhaskararaya

Memorial Foundation” through Cheques or drafts made

payable at Chennai, India. This donation can be

used to avail exemption u/s 80G of the Indian Income

Tax Act.
