Bagalamukhi (Peethambara)

 

Bagala is one of the DasaMahavidya’s. Bagalamukhi means ‘The

crane-Headed one’. Bagala is goddess of speech. She has the magic power for the

suppression of enemy’s gossip. She is the pronouncement of ultimate truth. She

has the truth power of self nature. She is yellow in colour, wearing yellow

clothes and yellow ornaments, gems, wearing yellow flowers particularly

champaka blossoms. With left hand holding the tongue of an enemy and with the

right hand she is striking him on the head with her mace. She sits upon a golden

throne surrounded by red lotuses and wears the crescent moon as a jewel on her

head.

 

The weapon that puts to an end of all conflicts and confusion is

the weapon of spiritual knowledge i.e weapon of Brahman (Brahamastra). The

highest form of Brahamastra is the question “Who am I”? or “what is the Self”

?. To understand the concept of who am I (Non yaar) , one can read the works and

books of Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharashi.

 

Bagala turns each thing into its opposite. She turns speech into

silence, knowledge into ignorance, power into impotence, defeat to victory. She

represents knowledge whereby each thing must in time becomes its opposite. Here

is her yantra.

Dear Divine Brothers/Sisters,

 

I am looking from any of your source for help, guidance and support in respect

of fulfilling the desire of one of the devotees of Divine Mother to make and

offer a comprehensive chakra of all the dasa maha vidhyas with bija aksharas

(preferably in sanskrit). Further they also want to make 10 separate maha merus

of the 10 vidhyas and offer them to their Guru as their whole hearted offering.

 

We have perfect knowledge on maha meru and have been meeting the demand of

several devotees according to their requirement of size and quality.

 

We therefore look to the devotees to help me in the following:

1. picture/design of chakras of the 10 dasa maha vidhyas including srichakra. In

srichakra there are several bedhas and would like to know the perfect one, if

possible.

2. Dimensional values of the meru for each of the 10 vidhyas (excepting maha

meru) as you are aware that each meru have their own measurement and

calculations to make them perfect.
