Guest guest
> during the vira upasana of Tripurasundari and Veerabhadra in Trilinga Desa. There is also a similar stuthi for Veerabhadra in Trilinga Desa among Vira Saivaites. And symbolically among Vira Saivites, this Vira Stuthi is ascribed to Vira Khadga among the worshippers of Veerabhadra. My tenants in trilinga desha performed a vIrabhadrotsava a couple of months back. Among the many things they do, there will be a person who simulates a sword combat while people recite songs in Telugu(actually mixture of Telugu and Sanskrit) in praise of vIrabhadra. It is true that these songs are called khaDga-s(vIrabhadra khaDgamulu in Telugu). The reason why they are called khaDga-s is of-course clear given the context. But will that apply to yesterday's discussion is another question which I will not discuss for now. AFAIK Tripurasundari does not figure in this utsava(do correct me if I am mistaken). No offense taken regarding any posts. So be easy. :-) Regards
Guest guest
Shri Gurubhyo Namah: Dear Shri Shriram: Every Gurumandalii has its own set of interpretations of various texts, which are disputed and contested by others. This is why it is important to follow one's Guru. I am sure your Guruji has your best interests at heart, and I am glad to know that you are following her instructions., I hope you can still join us in singing praises of Shri Maataa, while avoiding unnecessary debate and argument. Thanks and Regards. KR. Shri Maatre Namah.

This is not completely true. If something is illogical and not sanctioned by the shastra-s it should be abandoned. It is good to follow one's teacher but if it is found that it has no basis in the shastra-s, it should be abandoned and the right procedures should be followed.
