Guest guest
Dear Sirs, I have a simple question (may be silly also), but this is troubling my mind. Would working in Investment Banking firms, or trading in stocks/shares be a-dharmic (I have a sneaking suspicion that it is) as some amount of speculation is involved. If it be a-dharmic, would doing one's karmas or crying LS or LT to Mother will really help an a-dharmic path follower? I am a bit late in my life to change profession and it is the only professional skills I have. With regards, narayan
Guest guest
Dear narayan, Strictly speaking dharma and adharma is a state of mind. There is nothing like dharma or adharma. But yes, Varnashrama Dharma is there. Now, dear Narayan, how many of us are following the varnashrama dharma to the core. A brahmin should not work under anybody. He should only perform purohita, be an acharya to the society, lead the society to illumination and study veda. Now, if i say, quit your job and do purohita. Can you? You cannot and SHOULD NOT. Because you are married and have children. It is your RESPONSIBILITY AS A HUSBAND AND FATHER to look after and take care of your wife and children. So, quitting the job and making them starve is also a SIN. So, perform your duties with nishkama bhava (which is very difficult but easy to say). Pray to Mother. Chant LS and Devi Aparadhakshamapana Stotra. Read Bhagavat Gita. That is all we can do. Leave rest to Ambaal. with regards, sriram z1e1b1r1a <z1e1b1r1a wrote: Dear Sirs, I have a simple question (may be silly also), but this is troubling my mind.
