Guest guest
Dear Divine, When you want to do the srichakra or maha meru puja, certain procedures must be followed. You know it represents the karana sarira as pects (abstract) and therefore one should climb up the ladder to achieve that level of interaction for interaction without intercourse (body and mind contact - in other words soul to soul contact) However there is a simple method by which you can do the puja by using the various mantras into which you have been initiated - without using mudras and other requirements. Blessings to all. Guest guest
Dear Narayan, There is no Vedic Srichakra Archana Paddathi. Srividya itself is tantric in approach that involves several procedures like antar and bahir matrika nyasas, kala nyasas, mudras, paatra sthapana, vardhani kalasa, visesha arghya, kamakala dhyana and kamakala yantra lekhana and all sorts of things. The worship of Srichakra has been compiled by Umanandanatha which is called Nityotsava. Apart from these, several traditions have compiled the Srichakra Archana Paddathi. Some of the valid and authoritative compilations are from Guhananda Mandali. Sri Shodashanandanatha (Hariharananda Saraswathi) had also compiled a book called “Srividya Rahasya”. Even Sri Sivanandanatha also compiled the Srichakra Archana Paddathi alongwith Vasana (the antaryaga paddathi) the copy of which I am having. The kalpokta srichakra archana involves 7 to 8 hours at a constant stretch. Srividya Upasana when done systematically as per shastras yields results. The Srividya Upasana, as I said earlier, is a way of life that involves several stringent rules and regulations. Srichakra Upasana itself is a Yajna. This has to come from a Satguru who is well versed in sastras. Even the disciple, who receives the Srividya, should be fit enough to receive it. THERE IS NO COMPROMISE IN SRICHAKRA ARCHANA AND ITS UPASANA PADDHATI. However, if you have a Srichakra in your Siva Panchayatana that has been coming down traditionally ie., from your father and his forefathers, you can carry out the upasana without any apprehensions even if you do not know the Upasana Kalpa. If you have not learnt the Chakra Archana paddati mentioned above, do not bother. You can continue with your panchayatana provided you are able to perform all the mandatory dharmas (which I mentioned in my earlier mails regarding shoucha, ashoucha and bahishta dharma). You need not dispose off the Panchayatana if you do not know the Srichakra Puja Vidhi. Mother herself would guide and show the relevant guru for the sincere aspirant who is in the path of Karmanushtana. After all she is " Sadacharapravarthika " and " Varnashramavidhayini " . Till then you can continue the Panchayatana and Srichakra puja with PURUSHA SUKTAM, SRISUKTAM AND SATA RUDRIYA PATHA. During kumkumarchana read Siva and Lalitha Ashtottara. Offer the Naivedyam whichever is possible for you (Rice Porridge, Sweet Pongal, Milk, Fruits etc.). Offer mahanivedana every Friday. BUT DO NOT TAKE THIS FOR GRANTED. THIS IS THE CASE WHEN THE YANTRA IS COMING DOWN FROM YOUR FATHER AND FOREFATHERS AS A PART OF PANCHAYATANA. One of my close friends, who do not know the Kalpoktha Srichakra Archana Paddhati has Srichakra in his home which has been coming down from ages. This poor fellow knows only Srisuktam and Purushasuktam. After Sandhya Anushtana, he chants these regularly and offers milk and payasam. Believe me, during Navaratri, one is able to hear the tinkling sounds of anklets of Devi walking in their house. He knows only Srisuktam. Not even Khadgamala and Lalitha Trishati. So, the panchayatana coming from ages should be protected duly with respect provided you are following shoucha dharma. If you follow these mandatory dharmas, rest will be followed by grace of Ambaal. The srichakra worshipped by Kavyakanta Ganapati Muni is being worshipped with only Srisuktam and Trishati but still it gives off powerful and strong currents. Upasakas please excuse me if I have stepped out of my limits. With regards, Sriram z1e1b1r1a <z1e1b1r1a wrote: Sri Gurubyoh Namaha, Is there is a purely vedic method of doing Srichakra/Sri Yantra puja without involving mudras and/or tantras? thanx in advance for expected guidance narayan Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage. Guest guest
Shree Gurubhyo Namah: Friends: Here is the flip side. If the Shri Chakram is coming down from generations, you SHOULD NOT STOP performing the minimum upachaaras. If anyone cannot perform the minimum upachaaras, then one should hand over the Shri Chakram to someone qualified, and who can perform the upachaaras. Thanks and Regards. KR. Shree Maathre Namah.
