Guest guest Posted June 7, 2008 Report Share Posted June 7, 2008 Pranams There is a Vanadurga temple near Mayavaram-Kumbakonam route. It is believed that Sage Agasthya built this temple. The ceiling above Goddess's head is open. It is beleived that Durga devi visits Kashi and other places. It is for that reason there is opening above in the ceiling and it is not MAN MADE.
