Guest guest
Shri Gurubhyo namah Shri Mahaganapathaye namah Friends: I have also seen the following version of the text... sarvabaadhaa prashamanam trailokyasyaakhileshvarii evamevatvayaakaaryam asmadvairi vinaashanam. (Please notice the initial " sarva " instead of " sarvaa " . There is some discussion here around grammatical version and the overriding of technical grammar with proper chandas. In some schools of thought, chandas is considered to be important enough to override technical grammar. You may find such examples even in vedic texts. Also, please notice the " evameva " , instead of " evametat " ). Thanks. KR. Guest guest
Dear sankar, Namaste. You are right. While doing the parayana, one has to read the entire chandas without any break in between. The sloka should be broken into 4 padas with 8 words each. At the end of each pada, one should take a short pause and continue with the rest. So, i took the liberty in separating the chandas so as to make the word more clear in meaning. But while parayana, one should not break the chandas. Thanks a lot for pointing. Guest guest
A minimum of 108 is recommended everyday. As regards the importance of 108, it is explained in Trishiksha Brahmanopanishad. 108 is related to the praana tattva of the individual. Moreover, the no. 108 is also mandatory because it is linked with the astrological zodiacs also. There are 27 nakshatras and each nakshatra has 4 padas. So, 27x4 =108. As per jyothishya sastra, every nakshatra has a specific influence on the body of individual. So, a minimum round of 108 would also specifically revitalise the nakshatra doshas in our body.
