Guest guest
Dear devotees of Mother, This is siddha mantra of Chandi sapthasathi which is being chanted for kaarya siddhi in our parampara. The results are prompt and immediate. There is an incident behind how this siddha mantra was given to my gurunatha. My gurunatha had completed the translation works of Vishnusahasranama Shankara Bhashya and Varivasya Rahasya and was on his way to Sringeri for ashirvachana and mantra akshata from Mahasannidhanam of Sringeri. After getting the blessing of Mahasannidhanam HH Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Swamigal, my gurunatha broke his journey at Udipi to have the darshan of Shri Krishna. Having had the darshan of Shri Krishna, he was taking rest at the temple premises. Immediately, there was a call from Mutt Attendant of Banderikeri Mutt (one of the 8 mutts of Udipi) that Shri Swamigal was calling for giving prasada and akshata. My gurunatha never knew any of the muttadhipatis of Udipi Mutt. Thinking it to be the call of Shri Krishna, my gurunatha went and had the darshan of the muttadhipathi of Bandarekeri Mutt. Shri Swamigal glanced at the Vishnusahasranama Bhashya of Shankara and blessed my gurunatha and asked my gurunatha to also write a commentary on Prithvidhara Bhashya of the same and gave the manuscripts of Prithvidhara bhashyas that were preserved in the mutt premises. Saying so, His Holiness directed the asthana vidhvan Parama Pujya Shri Pandurangachar to give the upadesa of this siddha mantra to my gurunatha. There needs a special mention about this great personality Shri Pandurangachar. Shri Pandurangachar was a great scholar in Vyakarana, Nyaya, Mimamsa and had studied entire scriptures related to Madhva Siddhanta. Apart from these, he studied all the works of Appayya Dikshitar and Madhusudhana Saraswathi and was well versed with Advaita Siddhanta. Generally, madhvas donot worship the deities other than Shri Anjaneya, Rama, Krishna and Lakshmi. But to our astonishment, Shri Pandurangachar was an ardent upasaka of Shri Dakshinamurthy and Sri Chandika Parameswari. He had attained the mantra siddhi of Chandi Navakshari Mantra. He could cure innumerable diseases and could ward off several dangers with the parayana of Chandi Sapthasathi. Upon the directions of the swamigal of Bandarekeri Mutt, Shri Pandurangachar gave the upadesa of this siddha mantra of Chandi Sapthasathi. The first mantra is from the 1st chapter of Sapthasathi and the 2nd mantra is from 11th chapter of Sapthasathi. Both the mantras are chanted together. No samputikarana with Sapthasathi is required. No nyasas and no kilakas are required. The only pre-requisite is devotion at the feet of Chandika Parameshwari. “Jnaninaam api chetaamsi devi bhagavathi hi sa Balaadaa krishya mohaaya mahaamaaya prayacchati†“Sarvaabaadha prashamanam trailokyasya akhileshwari Evam ethath tvayaa kaaryam asmath vairi vinashanam†Even I too have found out this to be a wonderful potent mantra in my personal life.
