Guest guest
Dear members, The yougika artha says that “angaanaam vardhanaath Ambaâ€. Maharishi Veda Vyasa uses this vyuthpatti in Mahabharata (Santi Parva : 266 Chapter : 32nd Sloka). This means that which “Nourishes our Limbs and Organs of the Body is Ambaâ€. The meaning is quite clear from the vyutpatti that Mother nourishes her child right from when he is in her womb. The child in the womb gets his nourishment through the intake of food of Mother. Later after birth, through the nectar-like milk from the Mother. Shri Dipakanathacharya (Shri Dipakalanathamayee of Guru Ougha of Khadgamala) in his “Tripurasundari Dandaka†addresses Mother in 29th Sloka as “Antar Bahischakrita Samsthithaye Namasteâ€. The word “Amba†finds its origin also here. From “Antahâ€, Am is taken and from Bahih, Ba is taken, which becomes Amba. Antah is internally and Bahih is externally, Samsthitaye implies that which exists as “the Existenceâ€. So, that which exists as Existence both internally and externally is Amba. That principle is addressed with prathama vibhakti as Ambaa (He Ambaa). Tryambaka implies Tri-Ambaka. Tri is three (3) in the form of 1) Desha 2) Kaala 3) Vastu. Ambaka implies that which exists as “Existence†both internally and externally. So, ‘Tryambaka’ implies that the “Existence of the Principle that pervades Desha, Kaala and Vastu both internally and externally. The Loukika Artha is “Ammaâ€, “Amvaâ€, “Avva†etc. With regards, Sriram Explore your hobbies and interests. Click here to begin.
