Dear vishwam,

No initiation is required when the brahmachari has undergone

brahmopadesa. Such a brahmachari is ever pure (the words of Sringeri

Acharya). And Devi Sarada is parama sattvika murthi who is ever

intent in bestowing sangita, sahitya, veda, vedanta, nyaya and

mimamsa vidya.

This is a wonderful stotra. One of the sloka runs like this: " O

Mother please do not let me put down my books of sastra. I should be

ever inclined in sastra adhyayana and sastra charcha. During the

sastra charcha please do sit on the tip of my tongue and bestow

victory "

Hence, no apprehensions in doing the parayana of this stava (for

brahmacharis pursuing the veda adhyayana)

With regards,

sriram

Prokta. The presiding deity of this Stotra is Vak Saraswati rupa

Devi Sarada. This stotra is chanted by the brahmacharis who are into

Veda Vidya and Sastra Adhyayana. Specially, Veda Vidyarthis who are

learning Veda, Tarka, Mimamsa, Vedanta, this stotram is VERY

ESSENTIAL for them to excel in studies. Regular parayana of this

stotra bestows sharp memory, razor sharp intelligence, analytical

skills, victory in sastra charcha (polemics and debates). This is

quite popular among the closed circles of Sarada Upasakas of Kashmir

and in Sringeri.

Sastry, who was a very close friend of my gurunatha. Shri Gopala

Krishna Sastry was the 1st guru of Shri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamigal

of Sringeri. He taught swamigal Tarka, Vedanta and Sutra Bhashya in

Narasimha Vana. Later on Abhinava Tirtha Swamigal taught the

advanced sciences to Sannidhanam.

later on shifted his residence to Hyderabad. Now he is no more. A

few words on him. Shri Gopala Krishna Sastry, learnt Tarka,

Vyakarana, Mimamsa, Kavya, Sankara Advaita and Kashmir Trika

Siddhanta (entire Tantraloka) from Brahmasri Mahamahopadhyaya Dravida

Rajeshwara Sastry of Kasi. Initiated into Srividya Upasana by

Brahmasri Tadepalli Raghavananarayana Sastry of Chandavolu. Right

from childhood, he was brought up under the personal care of

Chandrasekhara Bharati Swamigal. Currently, the grandson of Dravida

Rajeswara Sastry is residing in Chennai. His name is Mani Dravida

Sastrigal.

our street in Hyderabad. Now he is no more. This stotram is the

kripa bhiksha of this great personality.
