Guest guest
Dear chandramouli, Namaste. You have the blessing of Shri Vijaya Ganapati (who is our revered member - a close associate of Smt. Rajam Mami and Goda Venkateswara Sastry) and Shri Goda Venkateswara Sastry. If Goda Sastrigal has blessed you it invariably implies that Mother has blessed you. Shri Goda Venkateswara Sastry is a stallwart in Srividya Upasana. As far as i know, there are two persons in Chennai who are THE BLESSED SOULS in Srividya, Nyaya Sastra, Veda, Mimamsa and Sankara Advaita. They are 1) Shri Goda Venkateswara Satry 2) Shri Mani Dravida Sastry. Father of Goda Sastry is Shri Mahamahopadhyaya Goda Subramanya Sastry who was the friend of my gurunatha. To his credit there are 84 Chandi Yagas!!! The Guru of Goda Subramanya Sastry is Brahmasri Vemuri Ramabrahmayya Sastry under whom my gurunatha studied Bhamati and Advaita Siddhi for one and half years in Vijayawada at Trilinga Vidya Pita. So, you have a wonderful guruparampara!!! Just carry on with your upasana. Mother will show the way. As regards Shri Mani Dravida Sastry, he is the grandson of Mahamahopadhyaya Dravida Rajeshwara Sastry of Kasi. He currently resides in Chennai teaching Tarka, Vedanta, Vyakarana to the deserved disciples. Dear chandramouli, thanks for mentioning the name of Goda Sastry because we could remember his father who was a stallwart in Chandi Upasana and Tarka Sastra. He had mastered the works of Gadadhara, Jagadeesa, Udayanacharya and the entire works are in his fingertips. With regards, Sriram iyer ganga chandramouli <abiramianthathi wrote: NAMASKARAM TO? ALL I? Guest guest
Ram Ram The bio data of Goda Sastrigal's father appears to be wrong;can U pl check on this ?While Goda Vekateswara Sastri lives in Devanathan st., I am afraid that Goda Subramania Sastri lived in Kanchi. While Mani Dravid Sastri's grandfather was a Srividya Upasaka Mani Sastrigal has no knowledge on Srividya;in fact I wanted Upadesam to be done for him by Mrs Rajam Mami but she attained siddhi. If I had known that his grandfather was a Upasaka I would hv done it long ago. Guest guest
Dear sundar, Namaste. Just now i confirmed from a senior disciple of Mahaperiyavar. He said that there are 2 Goda families. Yes, as you said this Venkateswara Sastry is not related to Mahamahopadhyaya Goda Subramanya Sastry of Kanchipuram. I have neither personally met Venkateswara Sastry nor Rajam Mami. I did not have that fortune. But I have personally met Shri Subramanya Sastry when he came to Hyderabad for Sastra Sabha. As regards Mani Sastrigal, his father Mahamahopadhyaya Dravida Rajeshwara Sastrigal was a great Srividyopasaka who had mastered the mantra sastra. He was held in high esteem by Kanchi Periyavar and Sringeri Chandrasekhara Bharati swamigal. Mastered the entire Kashmir Trika Siddhanta and was called as " Saraswati Putra " by Periyavar. His grandson, Mani Dravida Sastrigal is a great scholar in Tarka, Vyakarana and Vedanta. I do not know whether he has srividya or not but having born in the family of Rajeshwara Sastrigal, they do not require any dikshas. Devi Saraswati dances at the tip of their tongue and they are blessed souls. But as far i know, these two stalwarts Venkateswara Sastry and Mani Sastry are the pure souls in chennai who are the torch bearers of our sanatana dharma. , Kunchithapatham Sundararaman <ksrjayavijaya wrote: > > Ram Ram > > The bio data of Goda Sastrigal's father appears to be wrong;can U pl check on this ?While > Goda Vekateswara Sastri lives in Devanathan st., I am afraid that Goda Subramania Sastri lived in Kanchi. > K Sundararaman > > --- On Mon, 9/15/08, venkata sriram <sriram_sapthasathi wrote: > venkata sriram <sriram_sapthasathi > Re: Sep 12 -1998 10 years > > Monday, September 15, 2008, 12:15 AM > > > Dear chandramouli, > > > > Namaste. > > > > You have the blessing of Shri Vijaya Ganapati (who is our revered member - a close associate of Smt.
