Revered Member of Ambaal Group Shri Vasudev Mishraji attains lotus feet of Ambaal

Dear members,

 

Shri Ravi Tyagarajan of Kamakoti Mandali has just conveyed the sad news of the

kailasa prapti of our revered member Shri Vasudev Mishra who holds the email id

shritripura in our forum.

 

Here is a short profile of Mishraji from Shri Harsha Ramamurthy.

Sri Vasudev Mishraji, a well-known scholar of mImAmsA and shrIvidyA

attained the lotus feet of shrIdevi at 10.15 am IST this morning. Sri

Mishraji, son of mahAmahopAdhyAya Hariram Mishra, obtained instruction

from H H Anatashri Vibhushita Karapatri Maharaj, Mahamahopadhyaya

Khiwde Lakshman Shastry and Murkharanyaji Maharaj. Sri Mishraji was

initiated into Srividya Upasana by his father, who belonged to the

lineage of Sri Shivadutta Shukla, at a very young age. Mishraji later

obtained Srividya Krama Diksha from H H Sacchidananda Tirtha of Nepal

and was an ardent worshipper of bhagavatI guhya kAlikA. Mishraji has

authored books on Mimamsa, Dharma Shastra and a compilation of Stotras

on Guhya Kali. Mishraji was blessed with the title Shastra Ratnakara

by H H Jagadguru Mahasannidhanam Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Swamigal

during Ganapati Sadas. A constant source of inspiration to his

acquaintances, Sri Mishraji, as described by Sri Sitaram Kaviraj-ji,

was a great combination of an intellectual and an upAsaka. Mishraji

had completed a Shatachandi Yaga this Monday and was instrumental in

guiding Kamakoti Mandali through various celebrations for the new

Parivritti.

 

We pray to the lotus feet of Rajarajeshwari and Chandramoulishwara to

grant strength and solace to the grieving family members and shiShya

parivAra of this great soul.

 

MAY HIS SOUL BE IN BLISSFUL STATE IN MANIDWIPA WHICH IS THE ABODE OF AMBAAL.
