Guest guest
Dear sudarshan, The tadana and shula mudras are easy but should be learnt from gurunatha. The tadana mudra is shown to prevent the obstacles. Bhu tadana to protect oneself from reptiles, insects, excessive heat etc. There is also another tadana mudra where the sadhaka is required to clap three times and has to gaze upwards angrily with bija mantra to ward off evil effects and obstacles coming from antariksha. Shula mudra is shown for atma raksha. Apart from this mudra, sudarshana dik bandhana and vatuka bandhana are done. As regards Bhuta shuddhi, it is the process of dissolving the pancha bhuta tattvas with corresponding chakras and burning of sins (papa purusha dahana) with pranayama. regs, sriram , sudarshan balasubramanian <sudarshanbalasubramanian wrote: > > Namaste, > > Could learned members please explain the how and why rituals like bhu tadanam, bhoota shuddi and shula mudra pradarshana are performed during puja. > > Thanks, > Sudarshan > > > > Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage.
