Guest guest
dear nalina Are you learning LS through the cassette sung by bombay sisters? Have you been initiated in LS alongwith mula mantra or doing the parayana just like that alongwith the cassette? I am sorry to ask you this. I am not discouraging but please be initiated in a good sampradaya the mula mantra and LS before starting the parayana. For god's sake, donot resort to cassettes and CDs for learning mantra sastra. Every deity has 3 forms 1) sthula 2) Sukshma 3) Para. The sthula form of deity is the physical form which we worship. THe sukshma form is the mantra and the para form is the tattvia swarupa of the deity in the form of pure consciousness. So, LS is the sukshma rupa of Mother Lalitha which should be duly learnt from sadguru. Moreover, Bombay sisters have murdered the LS and saundaryalahari. Approach a guru hailing from good tradition, get initiated in mula mantra and LS with anga nyasa and karanyasa. with regards, sriram , Sridhar Seshagiri <s_seshagiri wrote: > > --- On Fri, 9/26/08, Nalina Rajesh <nalina.rajesh wrote: > > > > Dear All, > > > > Can somebody mail me the Purva and Uttara bagham of Lalitha > > sahasranama?.. Guest guest
Sir, You are right to the utmost. Most of the musicians have tried to commercialise and make money out of their Sthothra CDs, in the process doing a very great injustice to our religion as also wounding the feelings of the real devotees. They are also the cause of misleading guillible generations. When the commercialised Manthra CDs are played, as per current fashion, over mikes, infinite harm is done to the atmosphere itself. Our people should reform.
