Dear satish,

I have sent the scanned book on Asya Vamasya Sukta which is the 164th sukta of

1st Mandala in Rg Veda. This book was published by M/s. Ganesh & Co., Chennai

(i think it is wound up now). There was only one copy available with Adyar

Library. The same copy was xeroxed and scanned by the the Information

Technology Divison of IIIT, Hyderabad. This copy which i sent you in your mail

is the scanned version of IIIT, Hyderabad. With great difficulty i got this

book which quite voluminous running into 300 pages.

The commentary of this Sukta was written by Sayana and Swami Atmananda. The

same was translated into english by Dr. C. Kunhan Raja, Professor and Head of

the Dept. of Philosophy, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. This book is out of

print and nowhere you will find this book. Hence, to preserve this document, i

am forwarding the scanned document to your mail id.

Please upload the file in Ambaal Files Forum for the benefit of the ambaal

devotees.

Let us all peep into the Heart of Rishi Dirghatamas (who is the mantra drashta

of this Sukta) and drink the Divine Nectar of Asya Vamiya Sukta.

With regards,

sriram
