Guest guest
Dear, Though they are primarily hari bhaktas, some of the hardcore madhwas DO WORSHIP SRIYANTRA. Just go and see the personal devatarchana of bandereke mutt swamigal. My gurunatha had compiled the Srichakra Puja Paddhatih as per Madhwa Sampradaya which is followed till today in some of the madhwa families in Andhra. regards, sriram , Raghavendra <mkraghavendra wrote: > > Dear Sriram, > > Can you please explain the Madhwa way of Srividya or Shaktha worship? Guest guest
Dear Sh.Sriram,                         Yes , I completely agree with peoples view that No vama marga for Dwijas. But I have some answers and explanation for your reservation and views. MOREOVER, I HAVE RESERVATIONS AGAINST THE PATRA-STHAPANA AND I WOULD LAUGH AT THOSE PERSONS WHO ARE USING NAGARA-KHANDA (GINGER) AND OTHER STUFF WHICH " THEY CONSIDER A VALID SUBSTITUTION FOR MAKARA- PANCHAKA " .  There is nothing wrong using ginger as a substituent for one of the makar panchka. Different guru sampradayas will follow different methods. we can make conslusions and statements that one is better or one is not. see untilmately what ever sadhana you do reaching point is moksha or Maa Bhgavati.  yes your point about TripuraBHIRAVI ot Bhirava are aboslutely correct and there is no dobut in that.  What Adi shankara did that he cut the both the hand that is vama & Dakshina TO keep up the samayachara up, from that mishra samaya came. ok. Umtimately the orginal is KAULA only and all thigns came from that .that is Mulam.ok. comming to the second point.  Even the recent stalwarts of Srividya like Shri Tadepalli Raghavanarayana Shastrigal, Gollapudi Gopalakrishna Shastrigal, Kuruganti Venkataramana Shastrigal, Shri Himakuntala Atmaramiah, Shri Sitaramanjaneya Shastrigal (asmat gurunatha) prohibits the usage of this sthapana  Whta ever the name you mentioned are absolutely right and I agree.Their methods of worship is different and they follwed their sampradaya.   But if go through SRIVIDYA RATNAKAR and SRIVIDYA VARIVASYA of SWAMI KARAPATRI MAHARAJ OF VARANASI, PATRA SADHANAM is must for Dakshina chara and Mishra samayachara. Because SAMANYA arghya patra & Vishesha arghya Patra, guru patra & Atma patra are must for these kinds of worship. May be I can explain you in personnel more.  People using this kind of worship also got siddhis and reached moksha samragya.  So My conslusion is that what ever may be the sampradaya or kind of worhip all are one and one only. we can not discriminate that one is good or one is lesss or something of that kind. Hope I am clear,  withr regards KAMESH --- On Thu, 23/10/08, sriram <sriram_sapthasathi wrote: sriram <sriram_sapthasathi Re: No vama marga for dwijas Thursday, 23 October, 2008, 11:11 AM Dear rajitha madam, I meant smartha brahmana. A smarta taking to leftist path loses his identity and is prohibited from performing vedic rituals. Because every vaidika mantra should be replaced with either Tripura Bhairavi or Bhairava. Guest guest
Dear sir, loko bhinna ruchih is what i would say. BTW, " srividya ratnakara " is the abridged version of " nityotsava " of umanandanatha. And umanandanatha, from what i heard from elders, slightly differed from Shri Bhaskararaya though he was his disciple. Morever, i have some reservations against Shodashanandanatha (Hariharananda Saraswati alias Karapatri swami). The other side of his personality is a low profile for many persons and there is a big silence maintained. I would not delve into it. As regs pAtra sthapana, yes let them follow their own paramapara. I should not dispute with them. regards, sriram , KAMESWARARAO MULA <kamesh_ccmb wrote: > > Dear Sh.Sriram, >                         Yes , I completely agree with peoples view that No vama marga for Dwijas.
