Guest guest
Dear Sriram Ji Thanks. But I hear that the Bhasma anointed, ie. that which is used for Abishekam of the Lord should not be mixed with water and that it should be applied in the forehead as it is. May be there are different sampradayas. However, the Dikshitar, whom I know says that the bhasma used for abishekam may also be mixed with water. However, vaidikas, have confirmed to be that the bhasma used for abishekam must not be mixed with water. May be there is something in Sri Vaidyanatha Deekshiteeyam about it Best Regards and namaskarams Rajaraman Venkataraman On Wed, Nov 5, 2008 at 9:47 AM, Satish <satisharigela wrote: > Bhasma in Chennai: > 1)You can contact Shri Shankaranarayanan of this list. > 2)It can be obtained from the ShrI vidya Kumkum store near Mylapore > temple.
